Iron Motorsports Starts 2023 Campaign at Tri-City Motor Speedway

MAY 6, 2023 --- Jeep Van Wormer and his Iron Motorsports team lifted the lid to their 2023 campaign on Friday night, May 5 in a weekly Super Late Model show at the nearby Tri-City Motor Speedway in Auburn, Michigan. Jeep laid down the fastest lap in his group during the qualifying session, but unfortunately hit a hole in his heat race and the incident dropped him to a ninth place finish. After blasting past ten cars during his B-Main to finish second, Jeep was once again on the move during the 30-lap main event. With a $1,700 paycheck up for grabs, the Pinconning, Michigan ace rallied past eight competitors to salvage a solid ninth place performance in his season opener.
